The Town of Altavista will hold a Public Input Session on Tuesday April 9, 2013 to solicit comments related to English Park

The Town Council appointed Mr. Tim George to fill the unexpired town council term vacated by the election of Mike Mattox as Mayor.

Wednesday and Thursday garbage collection will be picked up on Wednesday November 21

The Town of Altavista Offices will be closed Thursday Nov. 22 and Friday Nov. 23 for Thanksgiving

Fire Hydrant Testing

The Town of Altavista Public Works Department in conjunction with the Altavista Fire Department will be performing fire hydrant flow testing beginning Monday June 18, 2012.
